What is something I can get at an Italian restaurant that is healthy?

So today at 4 pm I am going to go to an Italian restaurant with my family. I don't want to eat because Italian food is not good because of all the carbs. Any suggestions?

  2. Any chicken/veal dish that is baked or grilled with a tomato sauce...ask for no cheese to be added and skip the pasta side dish. As long as the meal you order doesn't have a cream sauce or tons of cheese and is baked or grilled you will be OK to eat it without guilt.

  4. don't eat bread, BUT the pasta isn't so bad if you just get it with marinara sauce. No meat, cheese, cream, or oil/butter sauce also avoid butter- olive oil would be a better choice one more thing, try to order a baked fish or chicken, they should have that

  7. A real Italian place should serve pasta as a first course and second courses of meat or fish. If not, they would definitely have salads and soups.
  8. carbs are not bad for you, just dont have "too many" in one day. one meal is not going to make you gain.
  9. Every thing there is Healthy.. you psychosis is showing ... (you take your meds??) people have been eating Italian food for centuries.. you have been here 12 14... because your not thinking...
  10. Minestrone soup with a green salad with the dressing on the side so you just dip your fork in the dressing.
  11. See if they have whole wheat pasta or ask for a half portion and a salad.
