What is the best italian restaurant in manhattan?
The last time i went new york this my family and i asked the cab driver what is the best italian restaurant in manhattan. He told us this place called manga y bebe. We went there and tried it and it was the worse italian food i have ever tried in my life!!!! I took two bites and told the waiter to take it back. So I plan to go back to nyc next spring so can anyone please suggest a good italian restaurant?

- Babbo's. Hands down. Not only great food, but a great dining experience.
- There are over 500 Italian restaurants in NYC ... hard to pick the very best one, there are so many. It depends on what type of Italian food you like. Babbo at 110 Waverly Place in the W Village has 4 stars from critics. Then there's Baldora in the theater district at 249 W 49th. His dad owns Rao's but you have a better shot at getting a table here. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. You can also take a look at restaurant.com where you can get a $25 coupon for $10 ... you just put in the zip code and the list of local choices pops up.
